TRAINING 1: UDP2303 - Interoperability: past, present, future (August 20, 2020)

This training aims to introduce participants to the context of development and use of tools and methods that promote interoperability in healthcare, in particular the new HL7 FHIR standard. It also aims to enable participants to get involved in the community on health norms and standards by introducing major organizations, including International IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) and International HL7 (Health Level 7).

TRAINING 2: UDP2304 - Semantic interoperability in health (August 21, 2020)

This training aims to introduce participants to semantic interoperability in health including biomedical terminologies and ontologies, their life cycle as well as their place in health information systems.

Effect of oxygen pressure in cancerous tissue cells on radiotherapy treatments

Radiotherapy treatments currently used in the clinical field are rarely modified. They generally consist of a global therapy of 50 grays, fractionated in five treatments of two grays every week for five weeks.
Thus, it could be worthwhile to develop a numeric tool, based on mathematical models found in the literature, in order to compare different types of treatment without having to test them on real tissues. Several parameters are known to alter the tissue response after irradiation including oxygen
