TRAINING 1: UDP2303 - Interoperability: past, present, future (August 20, 2020)

This training aims to introduce participants to the context of development and use of tools and methods that promote interoperability in healthcare, in particular the new HL7 FHIR standard. It also aims to enable participants to get involved in the community on health norms and standards by introducing major organizations, including International IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) and International HL7 (Health Level 7).

TRAINING 2: UDP2304 - Semantic interoperability in health (August 21, 2020)

This training aims to introduce participants to semantic interoperability in health including biomedical terminologies and ontologies, their life cycle as well as their place in health information systems.

Prostate cancer is the second most frequent cancer and the fifth leading cause of cancer death among men. To improve patient outcomes, treatment must be personalized based on accurate prognosis. Nomograms already exist to identify patients at low risk for recurrence based on preoperative clinical information, but these tools do not use patients’ medical images.
