Back for a 4th edition during Semaine numériQC, the Rendez-vous IA Québec continues to foster the dialogue between the players in the ecosystem and those who want to discover the many facets of its applications.

On the agenda :

The latest breakthroughs in AI and the international positioning of the greater Québec City region in the field. 
Reflections and discussions that will fully contribute to the ethical and sustainable development of AI, a common understanding of the issues, and the establishment of a shared vision among industry members.
An exploration of the various facets of AI, from R&D to integration, including the latest market trends.
At the same time, the event allows the less experienced to discover this discipline in order to understand its implications as well as its possibilities.

In collaboration with the Semaine NumériQc, this event is organized by Québec international, Institut intelligence et données, Centre de recherche en données massives de l'Université Laval (CRDM), Université Laval and Bentley.

Intraoperative analgesic treatment decisions based on the NOL index: contribution of a data-based approach to improve accuracy and relevance

Student member : Marzieh Ghiyasinasab

This research project is based on the analysis of massive data on the NOL index and other intraoperative clinical parameters used by anesthesiologists during surgery. These parameters help them make analgesic treatment decisions in a non-communicating patient under general anesthesia and in whom it is impossible to assess pain and analgesic needs by standard questionnaires performed on awake patients. 
First, the objective is to interpret the values of this index in relation to the decisions made by the clinician.
