Conférences midi

This webinar will introduce the topic of data ownership and intellectual property in the research context. Presented in a discussion panel format, panelists will respond to questions probing the background, context, and current state of data ownership from a variety of stakeholder perspectives.

This discussion will provide a solid foundation for subsequent sessions on data ownership topics, including Indigenous data ownership, the academic post-secondary context, standards and protocols, and the open science and open data context. Join us as we embark on our exploration, examination, and discussion of the essential and often complex world of data ownership and intellectual property in today’s research context.

This research project is based on the analysis of massive data on the NOL index and other intraoperative clinical parameters used by anesthesiologists during surgery. These parameters help them make analgesic treatment decisions in a non-communicating patient under general anesthesia and in whom it is impossible to assess pain and analgesic needs by standard questionnaires performed on awake patients.
First, the objective is to interpret the values of this index in relation to the decisions made by the clinician.
