The ASM is a unique opportunity to foster collaborative relationships and to share and embrace new knowledge.

Participants engage in leading edge continuing education and learn about the latest developments in scientific research. The theme for the 2020 meeting is: Let’s Get Together: Making Meaningful Connections and it will be hosted virtually from June 22nd to 25th.

The COMP ASM will be attended by medical physics professionals from Canada and around the world including:

  • Professional physicists, scientists and academics representing a broad spectrum of clinical, research and academic interests
  • Leaders and decision-makers in the medical physics community
  • Young professionals and graduate students in the field of medical physics

Développement d’un outil de pronostic automatique combinant images et données cliniques pour le cancer de la prostate de haut grade

Le cancer de la prostate est le deuxième cancer le plus fréquent et la cinquième cause de décès par cancer chez les hommes. Pour améliorer les résultats de santé des patients, le traitement doit être personnalisé en se basant sur un pronostic précis. Il existe déjà des nomogrammes permettant d’identifier les patients à faible risque de récidive sur la base d’informations cliniques préopératoires, mais ces outils n’utilisent pas les images médicales des patients.
